Meet Dan, founder of the “Professional Digg Force”. In 1997, Dan decided he wanted to start his own business in his hometown of Grant, MI. Over twenty years later, he still loves what he does. His background in the construction & farm industry started at the early age of ten when he started work on a local dairy farm. That early beginning was the start of a life long passion for dirt, crops, cows and big equipment that roll black smoke!
Some of Dan’s hobbies are taking care of his cows, snowmobiling, being involved with his church and spending time with his five children (many of whom are involved with the family business)and wife of 29 years, Jackie. If you see Dan rolling down the road, be sure to wave or honk on your way by!
Darin joined Dan's Excavating soon after its origin in 1997. Over the years, he has gained a plethora of experience in all types of residential & commercial construction projects. Darin also specializes in septic system repair & installation. In his free time, Darin enjoys spending time with his two daughters, Dayle & Dayna, and his son-in-laws Zach and Doug.
Spencer has grown up working with his dad. After high school, Spencer attended Pensacola Christian College & Muskegon Community College (MCC). While studying business at MCC, he interned at Newaygo Insurance Agency, which turned into a full time position. In 2017, Spencer decided to go back to work with his dad and the family business. He is currently a project manager with long term aspirations for the company.
Spencer and his wife, India, along with their dog Rogue, live in Grant and enjoy working with their cattle farm.
